In order to do that more effectively, I limit my areas of practice to real estate and the number of clients I serve. Commercial Real Estate Transactions: I focus on representing buyers, sellers and investors in complex commercial real estate transactions, including those involving strip centers, office buildings, and other commercial property. I have also provided legal services in connection with the development of a hospital and represent tenants and landlords in commercial leases.
Materialmen's and Mechanics’ Liens: I assist suppliers of lumber, concrete, and acoustical and drywall materials in materialmen's and mechanics' liens, and assist other parties to construction and commercial real estate transactions in collections.
Trial and Appellate Experience: I have handled hundreds of trials and dozens of appeals in Texas and federal courts, including cases involving foreclosure and adverse possession. Clients in my commercial real estate law practice benefit from this experience. Not only am I well-equipped to handle any disputes that arise in the course of transactions, but my experience allows me to anticipate and avoid costly litigation, when possible.
