I represent both commercial clients and individuals in all proceedings and transactions that deal with commercial property, both land and the structures attached to it, including purchase and sale, construction, mortgages and foreclosures, leases, title examinations, quiet title actions, closings, and management. My clients are sometimes involved in transactions in hotel and resort property, retail complexes, office buildings, hospitals, shopping centers, and strip malls.
In the course of my practice I have handled hundreds of trials and dozens of appeals in Texas and federal courts. This valuable experience in handling complex real estate transactions helps to ensure that my clients avoid the expense and disruption of litigation. When a dispute arises, however, I am well-prepared to represent clients in trials and appeals. I also assist building supply companies with mechanics' and materialmen's liens and handle foreclosure of liens, property claims, and collections for other commercial entities.
